She spent many happy hours outside exploring local ponds and streams when she was growing up and continued that in her professional life. She is a designer and educator who focusses on restoring ecosystem function, often using plant based systems. Ann has degrees in American History / Architectural History, Regional Planning and Landscape Architecture, has three grown children and two grandchildren and lives in Maryland with her husband Don and dog Murphy.
