Traversing the intersection of two genres of contemporary art - appropriation and institutional critique - the booklet argues that to restore the promise of America, the 99% must declare their independence from the corrupt two-party system and wrest control of government from the billionaires and ethically-frozen politicians who preach the mutually related virtues of the free market and a permanent war economy.
