Katie thrives off using plant-based ingredients in unique and innovative ways. Her recipes and paintings alike glow with color, creating irresistible happiness energizing the restaurant. Stimulating her creativity, painting is her yin and cooking is her yang. Katie has also showcased her culinary creativity, winning TNT's cooking show On The Menu along with featuring The Honey B waffles on Haley's America on The Food Channel. She's also been seen on local cooking channels. The Be You Cookbook is based off the happy life Katie likes to live by; "Spread the love of cooking to encourage creativity within yourself!"
