It is difficult to imagine life without birds. City and country people throughout the world enjoy seeing them and hearing their songs. In this book, H. G. Moser presents poems derived from a lifetime of observing birds in a variety of habitats ranging from marshes to mountain peaks. The author's dogs and their fellow canines are the inspiration for this section of the book as they run unleashed through time and the poems devoted to them.
