Youar-Tomar Reign's journey had not yet been forged when she abruptly immigrated to Brazil from the United States while in the womb of her mother. The loss devastated her mother, who lovingly raised her as a single parent in her native country. Years past before death made its way to Tomar's doorstep once more when she lost her mother to cancer, forcing the young seventeen-year-old to explore life on her own. Armed with a sizable inheritance, she uses her riches for a life altering calling that involves the acquisition of a library that leads her to a love interest with ties to the Brazilian mob. But danger inadvertently lurks and threatens her existence when a common concern is met with innocent resistance. The Brazilian mob's mission is to buy up a string of properties in a downtrodden section of Rio de Jeneiro, Brazil with visions of converting the area into a nightlife attraction filled with hotel resorts, nightclubs and casinos. Sent to execute the plans of the mob is a prospect by the name of Keen Cutter, whose expedition leads him to a local library that occupies a portion of land desired. There, he seeks out the owner to propose an offer for the deed, but is deceived on who's the actual owner. During such time, Keen's eyes land on a very attractive young lady who poses as an employee at the library and is instantly smitten. Interestingly, the union flourishes and stirs up an old rivalry, family secrets, and conflicting interest with the mob that could very well end in bloodshed. This intriguing and heartfelt love story packs a powerful punch and will have you emotionally connected to the plot that surrounds two lovers with an unbreakable bond to die for.
