In search of her patterns she re-read her journals only to find poem after poem professing her love. In most cases she didn't remember who she wrote the poem about. It was apparent she wasn't always in love with anyone in particular, but was in love with Love itself. While this book is a potluck of poetic style that satisfies the pallet; Many readers consume the book in one sitting. Reading from start to finish is a roller coaster ride of emotions as the the author searches to quench a thirst that only one true love can satisfy. No matter where you are on your love journey, you can find yourself in these pages. To evolve you must first discover where you are. You are not alone on your quest and there is life after love. These poems, all written between 1995 and 2012, were the inspiration for the one woman show, "Evolution of a Love Addict." The show won the "Best Playwright" award at Atlanta's Black Theater Festival in 2012.
