Reverend Dr. Elmer L. Wright, II was elected and ordained an Itinerant Elder in the African Methodist Episcopal Church by Bishop Henry Wendell Murph, the 86th elected and consecrated Bishop. Since the late nineteen sixties, Rev. Dr. Wright provided leadership in the Public Schools, the Religious Education Community of Texas, and the Connectional African Methodist Episcopal Church serving as a Teacher, School Administrator, Elected School Board Member, Pastor, and Presiding Elder. Rev. Dr. Wright retired from the active community in November 2006 and has written this book as a reference to young men and women as they prepare themselves for service to humankind.
