Every soul feels happy when the body it has manifested chooses a goal conducive to its completing the present cosmic journey of life on Planet Earth. Above all, as individuals we are all part of this changing Universe. Our bodies are constantly undergoing change, while our minds formed of thoughts are also in a state of flux and at its core lies the unchanging everlasting soul, our innermost, transcendental self, as opposed to the material self - our body, thoughts and feelings - that is part of the Universe. The soul is our true self but we lose sight of it because of our passionate involvement with material self and its search for happiness. We need to reflect on this subject matter. We need to exercise our mind to make the right decisions and come up with right solutions and judgments. In our arrogance and ignorance, we have been polluting our minds thereby destroying our self and also this beautiful planet in every manner possible since our creation. Everything in this cosmic life changes and passes away as per the speed of time; but selfless love for every creature and this planet should be permanent and imperishable. To reach this love, to understand this love and to experience this divine love, one must work with great persistence and diligence with our hearts and minds. We must renew this with patience and faith, then that day will not be far away when no human suffering can result from the divine selfless love which is absolutely pure and indestructible. The main objective of this book is to help people who are struggling in the darkness of ignorance - cross the ocean of transmigration and reach the spiritual shore of liberation while living and working in the society. Always remember the glory and greatness of the Creator and do your duty to the best of your abilities without being attached to or affected by the results, even if that duty may at times demand unavoidable sacrifice. Some people neglect or give up their duty in the life for the sake of a spiritual life while others excuse them¬selves from spiritual practices because they believe that they have no time. Whatever a person does or thinks, ought to be done for the glory and satisfaction of our Creator. Not too much effort or cost is necessary for this process. Do your duty as a service to God and humanity, and see God alone in everything in a spiritual frame of mind. This spiritual state of mind can be gradually attained with personal discipline, austerity, penance, good conduct, selfless service, meditation, worship and prayers. The company of holy persons, pilgrimage, yogic practices, chanting of the holy Mantras of God, and Self-inquiry also helps to purify the body, mind, and intellect. One must learn to give up lust, anger, greed, and establish mastery over the mind and five senses (hearing, touch, sight, taste, smell) by the purified intellect. One should always remember that all the work is done by the energy of nature and that one is not the doer but only an instrument. One must strive for excellence in all undertakings but maintain equanimity in success- failure, gain - loss, pain and pleasure. And finally, the purpose of this book is to help all those who are in dire need of awakening our inner self, build our faith and spirituality levels and make us realize the purpose of our existence and the supreme consciousness that invades this whole cosmic system - the only truth of the cosmic journey of life. I have full faith and confidence that by the time you end up reading this book, you will be a self-realized completely new person who not only knows how to enjoy his life but will be able to make a great difference in the lives of the ones who need help. If that does not happen - it means, I have failed in my efforts. The profit from the sale of this book is meant for the needy and the poor especially the orphans wherever they may be.
