Reseña del libro "Santa's Slowpoke: ...the Christmas adventure of Blitzen's little sister (en Inglés)"

Santa's Slowpoke is a Christmas adventure story of Donder and Blitzen's little sister Nona, who everybody but Santa called "Catchup" because she couldn't run or fly very fast. Catchup's big wish was to help Santa deliver Christmas toys, because she would hear the adventure stories her brothers would tell her...but she was too small and too slow to help pull the sleigh. Catchup, however, always helped load the sleigh every Christmas...and one Christmas, when three of the elves got "candy" sick and couldn't do their work, everyone who could work were rushed so badly that toys were dropped and strewn around in an attempt to keep Santa from being late. Just when Santa thought he was ready, Catchup was finding toys behind doors and under workshop desks and filled a small sack to pack into the sleigh...but Santa was just taking off. Catchup shouted but to no avail and tried to follow the sleigh, also to no avail, and got lost following a shooting star instead. She decided then to wait in a quiet little village to be sure of seeing Santa sooner or later. While waiting, Catchup poked into the house windows and saw Christmas trees with broken or paper ornaments, and she realized the people here were very poor. She then wanted to put the toys in her sack under the trees. In time, Catchup got cold and tired waiting, and snuggled with her little sack, until she realized the dawn was breaking. Looking again into the windows, she saw that Santa hadn't been there yet. Was Santa running late? What to do? Catchup made a big girl decision without being told. Using Santa's old trick that she learned from Blitzen, for getting into homes without chimneys, she put all of the toys in her sack around the Christmas trees...and excitedly flew back to tell Santa. When they looked at Santa's map, the village wasn't on it. Santa then asked if Catchup would take the map and some toys every Christmas, to look for little villages that he might not know about. Of course she would, it's something she was dreaming about...and she ran to tell Donder and Blitzen. The moral: If you didn't get everything you wanted for Christmas, it might be because Catchup picked that toy to put in her sack and she gave it to some girl or boy who never before got a Christmas present.
