Kimberly Cooper Thomas spent most of her life in the shadows of her parents, her siblings, her children, her husband, her friends, and movements. Ofttimes the author had difficulty recognizing herself, because her identity had become that of the person in whose shadow she resided. But Kimberly Cooper Thomas is no longer in the shadows. She is now a blogger whose poignant, authentic, and often witty posts resonate with women (and men) of all ages. At the request of her readers, she compiled several of the blog posts from her website by the same name (SisterInTheShadow.com) to encourage, empower, and enlighten others who can learn from her firsthand stories.
