Amalija sought solace in marriage and her parents' beliefs but neither supported her in her time of need as a newcomer in a strange land.Through Something's Missing...in Australia, Amalija hopes to encourage Australians to show more kindness and respect to migrants and recognize and appreciate their great contributions (often with their hard work and cheap labor) in transforming a backward Australia (after WW2) into a beautiful, modern, industrial and multicultural country of today.
