After fifteen years, Dean is finally getting out of the casino business to open a shop with his wife. Disillusioned, Jeremy is ready to quit and return to his old job at the fast food restaurant-until a dice crew takes the young break-in under their wing and teaches him how to be a dice dealer. Jeremy not only learns about the craft of dealing dice, he is also taught about the other things that come with territory necessary to surviving the grind: Partying, gambling, and chasing women. However, the Hardway Casino has been bought by a new company and new changes are coming at the expense of the casino employees. Tensions mount and pressure builds in the workplace until something finally gives. The Crew is a twisted comedy masterpiece with the most colorful and imaginative characters that only David D. Arnold himself could put into words that will leave the reader's sides sore from laughter.
